Danielle Blair is the owner and founder of Calyx Wellness, a first of its kind retail concept in Canada that has since grown to two locations in Ontario with products found in hundreds of retailers worldwide.
It’s a personal mission for her. Prior to the opening of Calyx, Danielle Blair was exposed to cannabinoid therapy after witnessing her husband’s successful recovery from severe headaches caused by a brain tumor. Danielle’s partner Max had undergone surgery for the removal of the tumor and used CBD therapy to recover. Their shared experience inspired her to create Calyx, believing she could help entire communities achieve healthy, balanced lifestyles through natural CBD therapy.
A mogul in the CBD industry, Danielle has been featured in publications including The Globe & Mail, The Independent, and Vice. Over the past 15 years, Danielle has also been an active volunteer with several local and global not-for-profit organizations, lending a hand wherever needed – from educating at-risk teens on drug awareness to water filtration initiatives in Africa and food rescue programs. She has spent the past 9 years fundraising for Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue program, and continues to support the organization through Calyx Wellness.
